If my mind, couldn't find
I'd be sighted by two blind eyes

I'd be sighted by two blind eyes
I like the story telling format. It makes this that much more beautiful. It sets the atmosphere for one to dream out whatever they are really trying to figure out inside. Keep telling stories. I never like music that I can't get carried away listening to. This is beautiful!
Station lounges are always full of longing and desperation, but usually the damned are at least jovial for this small respite between their travels. Most times the house is raucous and the band is jumping. The place wails, and the denizens of 'down and out' forget about tears.
As you wander into the bliss of a soothingly reflective melody; You can't help but feel the weight of the room heave itself upon you. "The gravity here sucks," You mutter under your breathe while passing through scattered huddles of candidly conversing individuals. Every step sticks to the floor more and more until you reach the bar.
Swiveling around to post up in order to gain some bearing; You notice that the dancing area is rowed with chairs, Whilst a hologram maintains the somber reflection of all the things we lost along the way. There are at least 8 fellows well equipped to fell the beasts of the wild standing in an organized row just behind the seating arrangement.
Within the hollows of chair alley; One sad soul sits slumped, seeming to only hold himself up by his hands pressed tight to his face. His elbows are braced firmly to the knee. His tremor of emotion chills you to the core.
The only thing you can think to do is turn around to order a drink, but you can't. You're stuck firm. "This damn heavy gravity!" You bark, as the objects around the room achieve weightlessness...
This is like the great resurrection of the people in the graves at mid cemetery around midnight. They danced up from the grounds to trance upon the soul once more. If ever there were a living onlooker they would see not a thing to behold....
They'd be brave and steel balled while they stumble and shiver;
To step the ever climbing grade on which they wish to deliver
These skeletons find the ever living wish to consider;
A life fraught upon a lost cause covered in glitter.
I'd never wish that all my wishes had a 'with your back'
I never thought I was outrageous for not trusting cats
I'm catatonic; A bubbonic hypochondriac.
I think i'm sick cuz every day I have a heart attack
My figure cast black souls down the steepest of paths.
When I look back up I only grin and then laugh.
With all my teeth broke out, i'm bout to sleep when I crash.
This happened when I placed my feet at the mass
I neve said I was the people for completing the task...
.
is that an original?
pretty damn skippy although some of the rhymes schemes are a bit lazy
good vocabulary
keep it going, its a nice read!
The road that I was missing, strolling on a mission.
left with indecision, and nothing to hold.
Stuck within the rhythm. Luck, lust, and lemons
Got to break the limit of the things I behold.
Are you a fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd, perchance? That's what your username leads me to believe, at least. :D
Thanks for the quick vote and cool lyrical snack, man! Really glad that you dig the track. Luck, lust, and...lemons? Hopefully the experience won't be too sour. Stay thirsty.
I'm really digging the ragtime bit. As cheesey as the whole thing is, I was trying to holler some punk lines. Like this the sea shanty for pirates against paper mario. I luv it like a chicken nugget!
If I we're riding out on an electric bicycle to instabomb an abandoned foundry, this would be my theme song!
I love how dark this is. It's like going into the woods wishing you would meet your demons, only to find that they have always been with you. Deep inside!
Damnit this is so neon motel melancholy. It's almost like you were the first to take a ride on the space elevator, but the brakes never worked at the top..The stars WILL align one day.
